915980. If at all possible please do not drop your rabbits off en route to the airport! Travelling and being in a new place is stressful enough for bunnies and the last thing they need is the added stress of being rushed around and dropped off in a hurry. You really need to spend 5 or 10 minutes settling your bunnies in and making them feel safe before you leave them. Our

The price per night is inclusive of: Me Part of what you are paying for when your bunnies come to stay with me is my experience and knowledge of all things 'rabbit'. I believe that rabbits are very special creatures and they have very specific needs which I know how to cater for. I am very experienced at looking after rabbits and I can pick up the subtle signs of a poorly bunny very quickly which is valuable as rabbits can go downhill very rapidly when unwell. Being prey animals they are also very good at hiding the fact that they are poorly which isn't the best thing to do when they need help! We are also lucky to have the support of a brilliant vet so in the unlikely event that your rabbit does get poorly it will be in very capable hands. (Obviously the cost of any veterinary treatment for your rabbits will need to be covered by you, the owner). Hard Food / Pellets - Supreme Science Selective or Burgess Supa Rabbit Excel We can provide Supreme Science Selective or Burgess Supa Rabbit Excel. We do not stock other types of rabbit food such as the 'cereal' style food because we do not believe they are suitable for a rabbit's dietary requirements. If your rabbit eats a different brand of food to the two which we have on site then you will need to bring enough with you for the duration of your rabbit's stay. (You should never change a rabbit's diet rapidly so please do bring the rabbit's normal food if they are on something other than what is stated above - it would be detrimental to the rabbit's health to simply swap them over to what we hold in stock just for their holidays). If you would like me to review your rabbit's nutritional needs at no extra cost whilst they are staying with me then we can certainly discuss this. Hay We will provide your rabbits with top quality farm hay from Green Fields Rescue. I can guarantee that your rabbits will absolutely love it. You can purchase this hay and many others (and also some seriously lovely natural toys and treats for your bunnies) online at www.thehayexperts.com Vegetables / Greens / Fruit All veg etc is included in the price per night. When you book your rabbits in for their holidays we will ask you to complete a questionnaire which will detail what types of veg and fruit your rabbits like and normally eat so we can make sure we've got their favourites in for them. Litter for litter trays We
use a product called Megazorb for our rabbit's litter trays and it is
what I will also use for your rabbit's litter trays unless you have
an alternative product which you prefer. We do not encourage the use
of sawdust due to the fact that it has been proven to have a negative
and harmful impact on rabbit's (and other animals) respiratory systems.
If you would prefer us to use something else in the litter trays then
please bring enough with you for the duration of your rabbit's stay. |
